Containing group: Cambarus (Erebicambarus)

Types

Syntypes, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. 22346 (male II, 2 female).

Type Locality

Echo River, Mammoth Cave, Edmonson County, Kentucky.

Range

Mammoth Cave southward to northern Alabama. Illinois records based on assumption of C. (E.) laevis being a synonym.

Habitat

Streams and subterranean waters (troglophilic).

Remarks
