Catonephele nyctimus described in EpicaliaAndrew V. Z. Brower
IntroductionFormerly circumscribed to include C. cortesi and C. mexicana, this species is now restricted to populations occurring in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezula. Larvae feed on Dalechampia spp. (Neild, 1996).
