Holotype, allotype, and morphotype, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. 117963, 117964, 117965 (male I, female, male II); paratypes, Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Department of Zoology, Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Type Locality

Small creek, 6.8 miles (10.9 km) south of junction of State Routes 15 and 12 on State Route 15, Choctaw County, Mississippi.

Range

Known only from a few localities in Attala, Choctaw, and Kemper counties, Mississippi.

Habitat

Streams.
