Lyces attenuata

Introduction
This species is known almost exclusively from material collected by Fassl in 1907-1908 in western Colombia.Nomenclature
This taxon was originally described by Warren (1901) as an aberration of Josia striata. As such, the name is considered to be infrasubspecific and unavailable (ICZN Art. 45.6.2), and has no standing in zoological nomenclature. In describing it as a species, Miller (2009) made the name Lyces attenuata available and became its author..References
