This species occurs on the eastern slopes of the Andes, 1700-2200m, in northern Peru and Ecuador (Pyrcz & Viloria, 1999).

Location Ecuador: Morona-Santiago, road between Limón and Gualeceo, 1850 m.
Comments Identifications of figures 2 and 3 were reversed in the publication. The specimen's identity has been confirmed by T. Pyrcz.
