Type Locality

Rocky Creek, 6 miles (9.6 km) south of Lyons on U.S. Highway 1, Toombs County, Georgia.

Range

Lower Oconee and Ohoopee drainages in Georgia eastward to the Santee River basin in Richland County, South Carolina.

Habitat

Streams.
