Type Locality

Salkehatchie River, 1.9 miles (3 km) south of Barnwell, Barnwell County, South Carolina, on State Route 3.

Range

Santee, Edisto, Salkehatchie, and Savannah drainage systems in South Carolina.

Habitat

Streams.
