    1. Funnel organ V-shaped.

  3. Fins
    1. Anterior margin with lobe near attachment.

  4. Gills
    1. Half-orange shape.
    2. 7-8 primary lamellae.

  5. Optic lobes and nerves
    1. Optic lobe spherical.

    1. Radula present; poorly developed; homodont.
    2. Anterior salivary glands lie on buccal mass; posterior salivary glands present, small, located posterior to brain.
    3. Esophagus twice length of intestine.
    4. Intestine straight.
    5. Digestive gland unilobular.

  9. Female reproductive tract
    1. Proximal portion of oviducal gland one third, cream color; distal portion two thirds, green/brown.

  10. Pigmentation
    1. Entire digestive tract darkly pigmented.
    2. Skin deep red in fresh specimens, reddish-brown in preservation.
    3. Pigmentation of oral and aboral surfaces of arms greater than mantle.
    4. Posterior margin of fin purple.
