  1. The first 6 of 7 tentacle-photophores in Pyroteuthis addolux.

    The double construction of the large, oval Pyroteuthis tentacle-photophores is best seen here in photophore number 5 with the smaller component (white) seen at the distal end of the yellowish oval component.
