Discussion of Phylogenetic Relationships
The brackets are around the genus name to indicate that this clade (if it is a clade) needs a new name. The traditional genus Pipra is polyphyletic, and the name belongs to the type species and its relatives, here. Both Dixiphia and Ceratopipra are available.Title Illustrations
