Scientific Name Muscipipra vetula
Location Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil November 2008 The Shear-tailed Grey Tyrant is distributed in south-east Brazil and adjacent areas of Paraguay and Argentina. It is found in the borders of Atlantic Rain Forest and secondary growth mainly between 1,000 and 2,200 metres.
