IdentificationUsually somewhat elongate. The palpi are atypical for dendryphantines, with a large embolic hematodocha.
HabitatMost species are know from oaks or pines from Mexico and the western U.S. Most appear to be foliage-dwellers, though some (P. monticola) appear to be bark-dwellers.
